England Fans In The USA: A Travel Survival Guide For 2026
Dallas, Boston, New Jersey. Three cities, three England matches, six weeks. The travel guide for the away support that's actually going.
You're going. Or you're seriously considering it. Three matches, three American cities, and the small complication that England haven't won a World Cup since 1966 and you're flying economy to find out if 2026 is the year.
Here's the brief: England play Dallas on June 17, Boston on June 23, and New Jersey on June 27. Build your flights and accommodation with that possibility in mind. Lose the group stage and you've paid a lot of money for a very short trip.

AT&T Stadium holds more than 80,000 people and has a retractable roof that means the heat problem is at least partially solved. Dallas in June is genuinely hot — 35°C is normal and the humidity is manageable compared to the coast, but you'll feel it the moment you leave air conditioning.

Where to stay: Fort Worth's Sundance Square area is good — lower prices than central Dallas, walkable hospitality district, and the distance to AT&T is manageable. The English fan presence in 2022 was disproportionately concentrated in Uptown Dallas for the Brazil game there. Expect similar this time.
For pre-match: the bar culture in Dallas is fine but do not expect UK pub hours. Last orders at 2am is standard, but the atmosphere around a big match is genuinely good — Americans enjoy the occasion even if they're neutrals.

Boston — June 23, Gillette Stadium, 4pm ET (9pm UK)
Gillette Stadium is in Foxborough, not in Boston. This is important. It's roughly 30 miles south of the city and you'll need t
